What we count.
This site sets no cookies and keeps nothing on your device. It counts visits with fullres, an analytics service, so we know which pages get read and how quickly they load. The pages and fonts are static files, hosted by Netlify.
What fullres receives
When a page loads, a script from fullres's servers (t.fullres.net) sends them:
- the page's address, and the page you came from
- your browser's user agent (browser, version and operating system) and the size of its window
- any campaign tags (
utm_…) in the link you followed - how far down the page you scroll, in quarters
- a short signal every 30 seconds while the page is in front of you, which measures time on the page
- how quickly the page drew and responded (Core Web Vitals)
Like any request on the web, these carry your IP address to fullres's servers. We look at the totals: which pages are read, where visits come from, and how fast pages load. We don't combine them with anything else, and we don't use them for advertising.
What it doesn't do
It keeps no cookie, local storage or other identifier on your device. The script makes up a random number for each page view to tie that view's signals together, and the number is gone when you leave the page. fullres says it does no cross-site tracking. The one cookie its script can set is a switch, disableFullresTracking, that site owners use to mark their own visits; it is only set when a page's address carries it.
If you'd rather not be counted
Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser and the script isn't loaded at all, so the page makes no request to fullres. A content blocker that blocks t.fullres.net does the same. The site works the same either way.
Who handles it
fullres is run by Fullres Inc., who handle these counts for us. Their published material doesn't say where the counts are stored or how long they're kept; when we have that from them, it goes here.
We count visits on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read and keeping the site fast. You can object by sending either signal above, or by writing to us.
If you write to us
When you email hello@freshcontext.io we use your message and address to reply, and keep the correspondence as long as the conversation is useful. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your details. Ask and we will delete it.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), whose servers deliver every page. Netlify may keep standard technical logs, such as the IP address, time and page requested, to keep the service running and secure. We don't use them to profile you.
